Xigmatek HDT-S983 is the new improve version of HDT-S963 with
bigger heat pipes (3 x 6mm to 3 x 8mm) and special fin design.
At full load, HDT-S983 is 3 degree better than HDT-S963 and only
3 degree worse than HDT-S1283, but already able beat other 120mm
monster such as Noctua NH-U12F, Thermalright Ultra 120 and any
other 92mm coolers!
Due to the superior design, OCZ Vendetta also adapt the same design
of HDT-S983. But performance of HDT-S983 still better
than Vendetta by 1.8 degree!!
Using Arctic Cooling MX-2 thermal paste
to achieve the best cooling result!
